Description: Durakinase, the thrombolytic agent, is a proteolytic enzyme which acts by stimulating the conversion of plasminogen to plasmin and disrupting fibrin stability and production. It dissolves the thrombus, decrease erythrocyte aggregation and increases the perfusion of collaterals.

Indications: Acute Myocardial Infarction.

Dosage: 1.5 MIU administered by intravenous infusion over a period of 30-60 minutes.

How supplied: Vial containing sterile and lyophilized powder of streptokinase 1.5 MIU for IV infusion.
