Description: Hyaluronate, also known as hyaluronic acid, is an endogenous chemical normally found in every tissue of the body and is an important componant of synovial fluid. The key function of Hyaluronate is lubrication, shock absorption, protection of articular cartilage and improvement in viscoelastic properties of synovial fluid.

Indication: Knee Osteoarthritis

Dosage: The treatment consists of 1 injection per week given intra-articularly for 4-5 weeks. The symptomatic relief is obtained up to 6-12 months with one treatment cycle.

How supplied: Hyal is available as prefilled syringe containing Sodium Hyaluronate 25 mg/2.5 ml.
